The girls enjoyed lots of great food and had a ton of fun catching up on everything June 6, 2010, when the Class of 1953 Ladies Chat Group met for their annual Potluck Luncheon at Aline Ablitt Gorringe’s home in Medina.

This year was even more special since it was a 75th birthday party for everyone! The group sang Happy Birthday around the delicious birthday cake provided by Jackie Godfrey Brotnov, then posed for a group picture on the steps above Aline’s sunken living room.

Sometimes calling themselves the Julietts – (Joyful Uninhibited Ladies Enjoying Time Together), the girls also get together twice a month year-round. At 9:30 AM, on the 1st Thursday and 3rd Wednesday of each month, the ladies can be seen at Third Place Books on the corner of 20th Avenue NE and 65th Street – near the old school, chatting and munching.

The guys of the class of 1953, who like to call themselves Romeos (Retired Old Men Eating Out), meet Mondays at 9 AM for coffee at the Colonial Pantry Restaurant in Edmonds.
