Grapevine Schedule for Spring 2026

Here is the schedule for the Spring 2026 Grapevine. What is most important for you is the deadline for submitting articles and reports which is Friday 3/13/26. I hope this date works for you and I look forward to receiving reports from most of you.

GRAPEVINE SCHEDULE – Spring 2026

Reminder to Class Representatives:
Monday – 2/16/26
Membership Chair tells Class Reps to solicit classmates’ reports and/or compose a report to be included in this issue. Sending reports by email to the Golden Grads Grapevine (GGG) Editor is preferred.
Note: Information (reports and articles) received with GG Membership forms is sent by the Membership Registrar directly to the GGG Editor and put into the appropriate class report section.

Deadline Date for Reports and Articles:
Friday – 3/13/26
GG officers, members, class reps, and committee chairs need to send any articles, reports, and notices to the GGG Editor by this date. Sending information before the deadline is greatly appreciated.

Deadline for Donations and Obituary Reports:
Tuesday – 3/31/26
Membership Chair needs to send final reports to Editor.

Grapevine Newsletter to Proof-Readers
Friday – 4/3/26
Grapevine sent to proofreaders for editing revisions, corrections, and comments.

Grapevine Newsletter to Printer
Wednesday – 4/8/26
PDF copy of Grapevine will be sent to the printer, (hello@gandhprint.com). It takes about 2-3 days to print them. Before this date, notify the printer of when to expect to receive it and the date needed. Also email a PDF copy to the Membership Chair so she can email the Newsletter to the GG members who have chosen to receive it by email.

Prepare to Mail the GGG Newsletters
Tuesday – 4/14/26 (probably)
Volunteers attach address labels to each newsletter and envelope and then put them into the appropriate envelope — called stuffing envelopes. (Prior to the stuffing party, the GG Editor and/or Membership Chair will put non-profit mailing imprint labels and return address labels onto the envelopes.) The stuffing party will be held at the Whalley home. (Or possibly at the NE Library Branch at 6801 35th NE). Then the envelopes are taken to the mailing service. Prior to taking the newsletters to Publishers Mailing, the list of addressees in an Excel spreadsheet needs to be emailed to data@ziplus4.com.

Friday 5/8/26

GG Annual Luncheon
Tuesday 5/19/26

NOTE:
The Spring issue should be sent out about 30 days before the Annual GG Luncheon so members receive the notice and can register by the registration deadline, which is about 2-3 weeks before the luncheon. The luncheon registration form and information on the RHS Spring Musical will be included in Spring issues.

The Fall issue should include all Winter and Holiday concerts by the RHS Drama and Music Departments.
